Animal encounters on the Central Coast
At the Australian Reptile Park you can hand feed kangaroos, hold a snake and see crocodiles, American alligators, giant tortoises and native Australian animals. Nearby is the noisy pelican feeding at The Entrance which is fun for everyone.
Take a horse trek, quad bike tour, mountain bike trip or kayaking expedition through the lush Glenworth Valley, or head out on a cruise along the Hawkesbury River with the last riverboat postman in the country. Sail through the air on the flying foxes and perfect your aerial performance at the Tree Top Adventure Park in Ourimbah State Forest.
The Central Coast is famous for its beaches. Sample the golden grains and creamy surf of Terrigal or the gorgeous beaches in Bouddi National Park – or work on your board skills with a lesson from a surf supremo at Avoca Surf School.
